Protect Yourself & Others Around You

We hope everyone is pushing through these challenging times ,ensuring you are looking after yourself, family, friends and others around you. There is plenty of information and advice out there , to help everyone affected in their daily lives from COVID-19. 

To help slow the spread of this virus , its crucial we all practise good hygiene , social distancing and stay at home, as per guidelines set by the Government. 

Practise good Hygiene continually:        

-Cover your coughs & sneezes with your elbow or tissue, put used tissues straight in the bin 

     -Wash your hands often with soap & water,including before and after eating , food preparation and after going to the toilet 

     -Use alcohol-based hand sanitiser

    -Avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth 

 -Clean & disinfect frequently used surfaces,such as benchtops,desks and doorknobs.Also clean & disinfect frequently used objects,such as keys, mobile phones , walllets & work passes

 -Increase the amount of fresh air available by opening windows or adjusting air conditioning  

Social Distancing also known as physical distancing: 

-The more space between you & others ,the harder it is for the virus to spread .Recommended distance 1.5 metres.

-Avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs & kisses.

Stay at home:  we are required to stay at home unless it is absolutely necessary to go outside.You are permitted to leave home for the folling essentials: 

 -Shopping for food ,or need to go to the pharmacy

 -Going to work if you cannot work from home 

 -Exercising in a public space , limited to no more than two people

 -Providing care or support to another person in a place other than your home
